Mobile Advertising Networks Overview (Infographic)

A few weeks ago I pointed out that the world of mobile advertising networks can be quite difficult to understand: The market is quite fragmented and many networks offer different business models and features.

Mobyaffiliates just published an infographic about different mobile advertising network categories and companies offering mobile advertising services. Although I wouldn’t agree with “App Promotion” being an own category as it’s rather a service than an actual network. The infographic offers a nice overview of the mobile advertising market.

      No mention of the social platforms like addictive mobility or 140 proof. And through the ssp’s pretty much anyway can have global reach so is that section relevant? You could argue that a mobile ad network has to be global else it can’t be truly mobile, this is certainly a direction that Microsoft appear to be taking with the integration of bing into the core of wp8.

      None the less, great to see so much depth in such a young industry
