Since all the major phone manufacturers and carriers switched to 5G, all you need to do is pick the best plan for yourself! If you look at the market, it became extremely hard to buy any new device that doesn’t support the 5G network. All three major phone carriers are now including 5G in their plans and phone offers on the US market. If you check the prices of 5G phones in 2019 and 2021, you will find the difference unbelievable. While in 2019 it was new technology and you needed to spend quite a lot of money, today phone carriers are making it very easy for you to get a 5G phone. Why? Because over the years, this became the standard technology. The coverage of 5G is becoming better and broader.
However, it’s still a developing technology. The best is yet to come. For now, you can only look through all the options and find the most suitable one!
Here, I will show you the offer, and you can pick whatever works for you!
T-mobile was the first carrier to introduce 5G technology in the US. The company is nationwide on the 600 MHz spectrum. For more details about coverage in your area, you can visit https://www.t-mobile.com/coverage/coverage-map.
This carrier offers you three different 5G plans – Essential, Magenta, and Magenta MAX plan. Let’s go through everything they include.
Essential 5G Plan
For this plan, it’s necessary to pay $60 per line, taxes excluded. You are getting 50GB of premium data, unlimited 3G speed for hotspot, and unlimited SD video streaming. Also, you can save up to 20% by having two or more lines.
Magenta 5G Plan
This plan will cost you $70 per line, but you will get more features than with Essential Plan. Here, you will get 100GB of premium data, a Basic Netflix program (with two or more lines), taxes are included in the price. Also, you have up to 5GB of 4G speed for hotspot and unlimited 3G speed.

You are getting unlimited premium data, a Basic Netflix program with 1 line, and Standard Netflix with two and more lines for this price. Also, you have up to 40GB 4G LTE speed and unlimited 3G speed for hotspot and up to 4k UHD streaming.
Pros & Cons
T-mobile plans are more affordable than plans of their competition, and a Netflix subscription is included. However, the coverage in rural areas is a bit lower, and the hotspot is rather limited.
Verizon is a little bit different from the other two providers since it’s offering four plans, as well as a plan designed specifically for kids. Let’s go through all the plans and see what you can get from this carrier.
This plan will cost you $70 per line, but the offer is quite limited. You have unlimited calls, texts, and data. However, there is no premium data nor hotspot data. You’re getting Disney+, Apple Music, and Discovery+ free for the first six months, but unless you cancel the subscription, you will start paying for the service after six months.
Play More Unlimited
The price of the plan is $80 per line, and it’s pretty much similar to Start Unlimited. In this plan, you are getting access to premium data and 15GB of 5G hotspot, while 4G LTE is unlimited. Also, you are getting Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN included, Apple Music 6 months for free and Discovery+ for 12 months.
Do More Unlimited
The offer in this plan is the same; the only difference is that you are getting Disney+, Apple Music, and Discovery+ for free six months, 50% off for connected device plans, and 600GB of Verizon Cloud storage. Also, the price is $80 for this plan.
Get More Unlimited
This plan is a combination of Play More and Do more with 30GB of 5G hotspot and the price of $90 per line.
Verizon is offering more subscriptions than T-mobile and has higher coverage in rural areas. However, it’s more expensive.
AT&T is a third big carrier in the US, and, of course, it has its own 5G unlimited offer. Let’s see it.
AT&T Unlimited Elite
With this plan, you are getting unlimited texts, calls, and data, including 100GB of premium data. Also included are unlimited text, mobile, and 2G data in Canada and Mexico. There is a 30GB of 5G hotspot available with this plan, as well as a subscription to HBO Max. This plan will cost you $85 per line.
AT&T Unlimited Extra
For $75 per line, you are getting unlimited calls, texts, and data, including 50GB of premium data. This plan also includes unlimited texts, calls, and 2G data in Mexico and Canada. There is 15GB of 5G hotspot available, as well as unlimited SD streaming.
AT&T Unlimited Starter
The cheapest AT&T plan includes unlimited calls, texts, and data with no premium data. There are unlimited calls, texts, and 2G data in Mexico and Canada and SD streaming. However, there is no hotspot data available. For this plan, you need to pay $65 per line.
The good thing here, HBO subscription is included in the Elite plan, and the coverage of 4G is amazing. However, there is no hotspot nor premium data included in the Starter plan, and the connection is unstable according to the carrier itself.
Now you have all the plans in front of you. Depending on your preferences, you can choose what suits you the most. Good luck!
