  • Open the AirPods charging case next to your iPhone
  • After opening the AirPods case (you can also do this on your iPad), Pause everything else for a moment.
  • In a glimpse, you will see a notification appear on your iPhone indicating that you should connect the AirPods.
  • Press ‘Connect’.
  • Your AirPods and charging case battery level will be shown just after that.

You’ve done it! Since they’re connected to your Apple ID, AirPods will connect automatically to your Mac, Apple TV, Apple Watch, or iPad linked to your Apple ID.

To turn on or off Airplay, first swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen to access Control Center, then touch the Airplay button. Your AirPods are now displayed as an option in the settings.

That was incredibly easy.

In the past we’ve seen an update in the design of Apple’s wireless earbuds, and we anticipate seeing a new variation this autumn when the company has a product launch event. Some rumours suggest that the third-generation AirPods, said to be called AirPods 3, will include features that resemble AirPods Pro, including support for spatial audio, interchangeable tips, a smaller charging case, and more.

To make sure you know all you can about your AirPods, be sure that your AirPods are synced with your device. AirPods, AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max include detailed instructions on how to use them.

If there is something wrong with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch connection with AirPods, follow these steps

  • You will need the latest suitable software for your iOS or iPadOS device.
  • Also make sure Bluetooth is switched on in the Control Center on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
  • Inspect the AirPods to make sure both AirPods are charging and place them in the charging case.
  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth and set it On. Double-check your AirPods are selected as your audio device and ready to use. Next, you must connect them.
  • Cover the top with the lid, wait for 15 seconds, and then open it.
  • Test your AirPods. If you still can’t connect, reset your AirPods.

Once you have pressed and held the setup button on the casing for up to 10 seconds, follow these steps:

  • When your AirPods are ready, the status light should blink white.
  • Position the case next to your iOS device with the AirPods inside.
  • To set up your iOS device, follow the instructions on the screen your iOS device.
  • Try to pair your AirPods. If your AirPods aren’t syncing, try resetting them.

If you’re planning on using your iPhone again, you may have to connect it with your Mac or vice versa. Brief exposure to a device through Bluetooth may sometimes result in connectivity problems.

The days of sharing earbuds are over. Here’s how you and your friend can connect two pairs of AirPods to one phone at the same time.

On your lengthy commute, have you ever wished you could listen to music with a buddy without using your phone’s speakers? It is possible to only hear one channel of audio by utilising one earphone per person.

It’s also not the healthiest practise to listen to music together with a group using the same earphones. Anyone would hesitate before inserting a friend’s earpiece since they don’t know where it has been.

Apple’s new Audio Sharing functionality is now available. Listening to the same music or watching the same movie on two different devices with different earphones is now possible thanks to this function.

Apple’s Audio Sharing Feature

Apple’s technology and related features have long been lauded for their elegance. It’s as though nothing is a problem. Even if you misplace your AirPods, they’ve figured out a method to help you locate them. Even though they’re always trying to enhance the quality of their goods, it’s clear that they care about you.

And the Audio Sharing function is one of those enhancements. iOS 13 brought us this new function. It works like a splitter for wired headphones in that it enables you to attach an additional pair of wireless headphones on top of the ones you already have. This eliminates the need for two people to share a set of headphones in order to listen to music or view movies at the same time.

However, this function isn’t available on all gadgets. Apple devices running iOS 13 or later and with Bluetooth version 5.0 capability are required for usage. As an example:

  • iPhone 8 or later
  • iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2nd generation) or later
  • iPad Pro 11-inch
  • iPad Pro (10.5-inch)
  • iPad Air (3rd generation)
  • iPad mini (5th generation)
  • iPad (5th generation) or later
  • iPod touch (7th generation)

How to Connect Two Airpods to iPhone

Let’s take a look at how to connect two sets of headphones to a single Apple device that supports them. Airpods, Airpods Pro, Airpods Max, and Beats are all compatible with this.

  • Connect your headphones to your computer before continuing. Once you’re connected, go to Control Center and press the AirPlay Audio button.
  • After that, click on the Share Audio button. Select the second set of headphones you wish to use and then click on Share Audio a second time to link them both.

Hold your AirPods or AirPods Pro close to your smartphone with the case list open if you’re trying to pair them with your device. Put your Beats headphones into pairing mode and keep them near to your smartphone.

Once they’re linked, you may listen to music from your iPhone or iPad on each set of headphones at the same time. Using your phone, you may adjust the volume of either or both. Here we go again with it.

How to Adjust the Volume and Noise Controls

You’ll be able to adjust the volume and noise levels on both of your headphones once they’re connected to the device. Both your lock screen and the Control Center menu at the top of your screen provide access to these features. Here’s how it’s accomplished:

  • The Control Center’s two volume sliders let you adjust the level of each set of headphones independently. Your songs will be available to pause/play just above that.
  • Playing music and adjusting the volume.
  • The volume slider may also be pressed when in the swiping menu. There will be two sliders here, one for each of the two pairs.
  • Volume controls for each user.

You may stop and resume playback of audio and video without going to the control centre.

How to Stop Audio Sharing

Temporary is the keyword when it comes to the Audio Sharing function. As a result, Apple has made unplugging your second set of headphones from your smartphone very easy.

  • From the Control Panel, go to the Airplay area.
  • Disconnect the device by clicking on the checkbox next to it. This will result in a loss of connectivity.
  • Unplugging a third-party device.
