Google’s latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow has attained a double market share within a month’s period from its last stats. The version is now running on 4.6% of all Android devices. Its last month stats stood at just 2.3%, which means that slowly and steadily it is gaining momentum.

As per April stats, Lollipop holds 35.8% of the market, which has come down by 0.3% from last month. KitKat has 33.4% market share, which means it has lost 0.9% market share from March. Similarly, Jelly Bean settled at 21.3% of the share. Ice Cream Sandwich witnessed 0.1% drop while Gingerbread and Froyo managed to hold 2.6% and 0.1% of market share, respectively.
