Whatsapp is one of the best instant messaging platforms that lets you connect with other people using text, emojis and multimedia. It is an alternative to calling someone. You could just leave your message for someone and they could see that and reply to that when they are free and at leisure to do so. Phone calls are real-time and do not allow this. In this fast-paced world this alternative to phone calls is awesome. Then you could also create family groups, best friends groups, office groups where you could share warm messages and information alike.

You might have sent a message with spelling mistakes or sent it to a wrong person while you were supposed to send it to someone else; maybe you have uploaded a wrong media or photo or sent the wrong link. What to do in this case? Whatsapp has introduced a feature to delete messages. The ‘Delete for everyone’ option is great in that case. If you just wanted to delete it for yourself like if it is a media taking up a lot of space or an image or video that you have viewed and need not retain then just go to ‘delete for me’ option.

You can only view those messages that you got as a notification in your device. These have to be those messages that you have seen or interacted with.

It is possible even if you swipe away the original notification which may be in the notification bar or floating message.  In this case you must have seen any part of the message. This can also be considered as an interaction.

However, if you restart your device then the notification of your device will be cleared.

Again you can see only first hundred characters of the deleted message.

This is possible only if you use Android 7.0 or above.

You can also just retrieve the text data and not the deleted multimedia data.
