  1. Open Google Play Store
  2. Tap the Menu button (three horizontal lines in the top corner)
  3. Tap on “My Apps & Games”
  4. Click “Update All”

If you do not want to experience such an issue again and want your apps to update automatically as soon as an update is available, you can set it up as well.

  1. Open Google Play Store
  2. Tap on the Menu button
  3. Tap on “Settings”
  4. Click on “Auto update apps” and choose if you want to update apps only when connected to Wi-Fi or when using mobile data as well

When a new update for your apps is released, your device will recognize it and update your apps.

How to update only certain apps automatically?

In case you don’t want all of your apps to be automatically updated, maybe because you don’t use some of them or simply do not want an update, you can choose specific apps to update. To do so, follow the steps below.

  1. Open Google Play Store
  2. Go to the search bar of “Apps & Games”

  2. Tap “More” in the top right corner
  3. Click on “Enable Auto-Update”

  3. You will see updates for all the apps that can be updated
  4. Tap on “Update”
