Apple’s iOs 15 could finally get one of the most long-requested features

ios 15

Following the release of iOs 15 in March, Apple is now working on the next version of iOS. iOS 15.5 Release Candidate (RC) has just been released to registered developers around the world. As Apple has announced WWDC22, iOS 15.5 could be the final big release for iOS 15.

As a result, Apple is most likely focusing on iOS 16 at this time. Many new features were included in iOS 15.4, including new emoji, Face ID support when masked, and much more. Because this release is likely only resolving bugs and making final improvements, iOS 15.5 isn’t as feature-rich. Everything new in iOS 15.5 beta is listed below.

iOs 15 Release Candidate: What’s New

So far, we haven’t been able to spot any visual changes in the RC. If we find any noticeable features in this build, we will update this article. Meanwhile, you may read over Apple’s official iOs 15 Release Notes, which detail some of the known faults and fixes.

We don’t anticipate seeing any substantial additions at this point in the testing because the stable release could be next week. iOS 15.5 beta 4 appears to provide no new features for users. The update focuses on minor under-the-hood changes.

More under-the-hood improvements in Beta 3

Apple is making further internal changes to iOs 15, according to Steve Moser. However, it appears that none of them are noteworthy.

Weather app beta 2 improvements

The Weather app in iOs 15 beta 2 now has a larger Report an Issue button at the bottom. If the offered conditions aren’t accurate, you can improve iOs 15 weather services by providing the actual circumstances in your location.

Under-the-hood alterations

iOS 15.5 beta 2 modifies some of the system’s wordings, according to Steve Moser on Twitter. They’re generally minor tweaks that don’t result in any noticeable iOs 15 gains or adjustments.

Beta 1

The first beta of iOS 15.5 focuses primarily on internal improvements and prepares for future features.

Classical Apple allusions

For a long time, we’ve been hearing about Apple’s upcoming iOs 15 Classical music streaming app. Last year, the business bought Primephonic, shut it down, and vowed to build a standalone music app focused on the Classical genre. As shown in the tweet below, iOS 15.5 beta 1 has references to this app.

Buttons for Apple Cash. There are two new buttons under the Apple Cash card in the Wallet app. These allow you to request or send money fast using your Apple Cash card.

Limitations of Universal Control

Universal Control on iPadOS 15.5 beta 1 is incompatible with macOS Monterey 12.3, according to Apple’s Release Notes. You’ll need to update your Mac to macOS 12.4 beta 1 or downgrade your iPad to iOS 15.4 to use this continuity feature.

Q1: What features will iOS 15.5 include?

The iPhone’s iOS 15.5 release date is approaching, and some iPhone users may want to start preparing for it. The next big iOS version for iPhone has been confirmed by Apple. iOS 15 is a major update that will bring iPhone users a mix of new features, security updates, and under-the-hood improvements.

Q2: When was iOS 15.5 1 released?

With iOS 15.4, Apple appeared to have completed all previously mentioned features and left nothing to do until WWDC, but iOS 15.5 still has a few minor updates in store for us. On Tuesday, April 5, the first beta of iOS 15.5 was released.

Q3: Is iOS 15.4 available?

iOS 15.4 was released on March 14th. The software upgrade arrived just days before the iPhone SE (2022) was released on March 18, along with a new colour choice for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro. iOS 15.4 is installed on all three phones.

Q4: Is iOS 15.4 available now?

All iPhones and iPods running iOS 15.4 and iPad 15.4 are compatible. Go to the Settings app, then General > Software Update then Download and Install to install it on your smartphone.

Q5: Where can I download the 15.4 beta?

Q6: Is the iPhone 6 compatible with iOS 15?

You can upgrade to iOS 15 if you have an iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, or the original iPhone SE. You won’t be able to use these phones if you have an iPhone 6 or an iPhone 5S.

Q7: Is iOS 15 compatible with the iPhone 6S?

All iPhone and iPod touch models running iOS 13 or iOS 14 are compatible with iOS 15, which means that the iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, and original iPhone SE will be able to run the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system once again.

iOS 15 strengthens some built-in applications that were in need of retooling, such as FaceTime and Maps. It also introduces some welcome new capabilities, such as the ability to store ID cards in Wallet, and boosts your iPhone’s on-device intelligence with new features such as Visual Look Up and Live Text.

Even if not all of these updates have been given a final polishing, you should be pleased with what you see when you download iOS 15.
