Pixel 7 Pro on Facebook Marketplace

Pixel 7 Pro on Facebook Marketplace

Pixel 7 Pro on Facebook Marketplace? This guy bought a Pixel 7 Pro on Facebook Marketplace and used it for a few weeks before selling it. In addition to the Pixel 7, there was a second one listed on eBay. While listing a Pixel 6 Pro, the vendor mistakenly put a Pixel 7 Pro on Facebook Marketplace as well. Once a lucky (or unlucky) purchaser, the phone was put to good use for nearly three weeks until a remote factory reset on December 31st was necessary since it was “acting weird.”

Reportedly, the buyer of the Pixel 7 Prototype has shared his story in Reddit and Android Police’s comments area.

“Until yesterday morning, it has been flawlessly functioning during my possession of it. When I was getting dressed in the morning around 4:00 a.m., the screen started flickering and doing strange things. Suddenly I realised that it was resetting my phone to factory defaults and erasing all of my data, so I freaked out and tried to pull it out of that mode. There was a date-erasing circle on my screen, and then it took me to that screen. I believe Big G was responsible.”

One image depicts a back that matches previous models while another shows the phone locked in fastboot mode after a clean. Both images have since been removed.

As expected, the Cheetah hardware code name is shown in the fastboot mode screenshot. Additionally, the term “EVT” implies that the device is a pre-release engineering verification test model. As you can see on the back of the phone, Google often hides. EVTs behind redesigned logos, as you can see in the black colorway Google mentioned at I/O. Samsung’s 5300-series modem is shown in fastboot, and the internal Cloudripper name for the improved Tensor chipset is also confirmed.

We already know that the Pixel 7 Pro’s display will be the same as the previous model. But it wasn’t clear if the phone’s physical design will be the same as well. An accompanying Pixel 6 Pro cover, purchased by the buyer, apparently fits the phone perfectly. Additionally, a Pixel 6 Pro’s fingerprint scanner appears to be able to fit through a screen protector.

Conclusion:

Pixel 7 Pro prototype buyers say they’ve spoken to the original vendor. Who confirms that all of their other devices were wiped clean as well. Also, it’s been stated that the seller wants it back (perhaps due to pressure from Google? ), but the distance is a barrier to that happening.

Despite Google’s I/O announcement, we still have a long way to go before the planned fall introduction of its next operating system. As the pace of leaks picks up, we’ll be updating this page with more information regarding the incoming Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, so stay tuned!
