Playstation Day of Play 2022? Sony has revealed that their PlayStation Days of Play 2022 promotion will get off tomorrow, May 25, with a deal on PS5 and PS4 games and accessories. However, no other events, such as free multiplayer weekends or competitions, have been mentioned so far throughout the advertising period.
2022 PlayStation Days of Play deals
The PlayStation Days of Play event will include discounts on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 titles as well as “other select products at retail,” according to the PlayStation Store. The titles that will be included in the PS Store deal will be unveiled tomorrow, but we do know that it will conclude on June 8 at 11:59 p.m. local time.

Certain items will also be available for purchase in the PlayStation Direct store. DualSense wireless controllers, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Sackboy: A Big Adventure for PS5 will be among them. Discounts on The Last of Us Part II and the PS VR Marvel’s Iron Man VR package will be available to PS4 players. The White, Midnight Black, Cosmic Red, Starlight Blue, Nova Pink, and Galactic Purple DualSense controllers will be reduced at select shops; we’re assuming that they will be included in the Playstation direct sale as well.
Finally, during the duration of the event, the PlayStation Gear Store will offer 20% off certain items. Early birds will be able to take advantage of limited-time offers. Customers who purchase $50 or more will receive a free insulated beverage sleeve on May 25. On May 26, God of War products will be on sale for “buy two, get a third free.” The next day, on May 27, PlayStation Shapes will run a “5 for $5” promotion.
Announcement from the Sony
Apart from the sales, Sony hasn’t announced any more events during the Days of Play period. Free multiplayer weekends, community activities, and themed Share of the Week entries have all been included in previous years. This year’s Days of Play website has yet to be updated, so stay tuned for additional information.

Blockbuster titles including Demon’s Souls, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, NBA 2K 22, Red Dead Redemption 2, Returnal, and more will be among the handpicked content. Here’s a taste of what we said on the PlayStation Blog. Because the game list may differ by location, be sure to check PlayStation.com when the new PlayStation Plus launches in your area.
I’m already a member of PlayStation Plus or PlayStation Now. What is going to happen to my membership?
PS4 and PS5 monthly games, special discounts, cloud storage for stored games, online multiplayer access, and more will be available to current PlayStation Plus subscribers when they upgrade to PlayStation Plus Essential. There are no changes to the PlayStation Plus perks you already have.
Existing PlayStation Now subscribers will be able to upgrade to PlayStation Plus Premium at no additional cost at launch. Please visit our website for additional information.
Will standalone memberships to PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now still be available?
PlayStation Now will no longer be offered as a standalone subscription service when the new PlayStation Plus service begins, and current PlayStation Now subscribers will be migrated to PlayStation Plus Premium.
Benefits for PlayStation Plus in the first plan choice, which has been renamed PlayStation Plus Essential, will remain the same. Please consult the chart above for additional benefit plan alternatives.
How frequently will new games be added to the PlayStation Plus service?
With the all-new PlayStation Plus service, games will be updated monthly, ensuring that there is always something new to play. Rather, the refreshes will happen twice monthly, as is our standard schedule for PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now. Also, for the most up-to-date monthly game announcements, visit PlayStation.Blog.
PlayStation Plus is a must-have.
The PlayStation Plus Essential plan (and the higher tiers) will get a monthly refresh on the first Tuesday of each month, featuring new PS4 and PS5 games — similar to what PlayStation Plus users get now.
Extra and Premium/Deluxe PlayStation Plus memberships are available.
In the middle of the month, there will be a new game refresh for PlayStation Plus Extra, Premium, and Deluxe subscribers. The quantity of games that are renewed each month will vary.
With the new PlayStation Plus membership, what devices can I use to play games?
The following devices are currently compatible with the new PlayStation Plus:
Streaming and game downloads on the PlayStation 5 console
Streaming and game downloads on the PlayStation 4 console
PC – just for streaming
Monthly PlayStation Plus titles previously downloaded on PS3 and PS Vita devices will remain accessible as long as the user remains a PlayStation Plus member.
On the new PlayStation Plus, what games will I be able to stream or download?
The ability to download or stream games through PlayStation Plus is determined by the plan benefit you select as well as the market area. Please see the table above for a list of market places where the PlayStation Plus Premium plan will be available.
Downloading (PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe subscription tiers)
Play original PlayStation, PSP, PS4, and PS5 games by downloading them.
PS4 and PS5 users will be able to download remastered or remake versions of PS2 and PS3 titles.
Streaming video (PlayStation Plus Premium plan)
Original PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Portable games are accessible for streaming with the Premium plan, which is only available in certain markets. This provides streaming access to games from the Extra and Premium plans’ game catalogues.
Please note that some titles, including vintage games, will be available for streaming when the PlayStation Premium membership launches. The availability of streaming services varies by title. Streaming isn’t accessible for PS5 games, either.
The PS4 and PS5 consoles, as well as the PC, can stream games.
The Essential plan’s monthly games are exclusively available as downloading games.
Will awards be available in the PlayStation Plus vintage game catalogue for original PlayStation and PSP games?
Ape Escape, Hot Shots Golf, IQ Intelligent Qube, and Syphon Filter are some of the early PlayStation and PSP games that may have trophies. Developers can choose whether or not to use this feature.
Is it possible to transfer game progress from the PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe plan’s time-limited game trials to a purchased game?
Yes. If you purchase the game, any trophies and game save data earned during the trial time will be carried over.
Can I maintain my trophies if I acquired them after trying out a time-limited game trial title through PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe and then deciding not to buy the game?
Trophies won during your PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe plan’s time-limited game trial will remain on your PSN profile even if you complete the trial and opt not to buy the game. If you decide to buy the game later, you’ll be able to continue earning trophies where you left off.
Will game progress from the PlayStation Plus games library be transferred between PS4 and PS5 devices if I want to complete the game on another device?
If you download a game from the PlayStation Plus games catalogue, the save data will be saved to your PS4 or PS5 console, depending on which system you’re using. You can manually upload and download your game save to PlayStation Plus cloud storage from a PS4 or PS5 system.
If you are a PlayStation Plus Premium member and are streaming a game from the PlayStation Plus games library, the saved data will be immediately kept in the PlayStation Plus Game Streaming Storage, allowing you to pick up and stream on another device without having to do any further steps.
Will DLC and add-ons work with PlayStation Plus games that have been downloaded?
Yes. PlayStation Plus allows you to buy DLC and add-on content for games you download from the PlayStation Store. If your subscription expires or the content is removed from the server, you will also lose access to the game’s DLC and add-on content. You’ll be able to use your purchased DLC and add-on material whenever you resubscribe to the service or elect to buy the game.
Please note that when streaming a game, DLC and add-on content are not supported.
Can I play games that I’ve downloaded from the PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium/Deluxe game catalogue when I’m offline?
Yes. When playing a downloaded game from the PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium/Deluxe game catalogue, you must connect to PSN every seven days to confirm your PlayStation Plus membership and keep access to the game.
Please note that this step is only required for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe game catalogue titles. The monthly downloadable titles offered through PlayStation Plus Essential are not included.
Will I have to redownload any games I already purchased through PlayStation Plus or PlayStation Now as a result of this service change?
As long as you are a PlayStation Plus/ playstation day of play 2022 member, any PlayStation Plus games you have previously redeemed to your PSN account will stay in your game library. Your PlayStation Plus advantages have not changed.
If the games you’ve already downloaded from the PlayStation Now game library are also available for PlayStation Plus, you can keep playing and your progress will be saved. Also, if the content is no longer available on PlayStation Plus, you won’t be able to access it after the service ends, same to how you won’t be able to access it on PlayStation Now. If the game is available on the PlayStation Store and you decide to buy it, you’ll be able to retrieve your saved data once more — just make sure you don’t erase it.
Are there any titles that were previously available to watch or download via PlayStation Now that will not be available with the all-new PlayStation Plus after this transition?
Up to the transfer to the all-new PlayStation Plus game library, the PlayStation/ playstation day of play 2022 Now game catalogue will be constantly changing. When the new PlayStation Plus launches in your region, PlayStation.com will be updated with the game catalogue lineup.
What’s the difference between a downloaded game and a game streamed through the PlayStation Plus Premium plan?
Games downloaded from the all new PlayStation Plus games catalog can run locally on your PS4 or PS5 console/ playstation day of play 2022 at their native graphic quality and sound output modes, so the quality can increase up to 4K if the title, console, and your TV supports it. Downloaded games that support PS VR can also be played with your PS VR device.
Additionally, some online features, such as add-ons and online mode, will only be accessible through the downloaded version of the game.
The PlayStation Plus Premium plan offers streaming in select markets. Also, with resolution options up to 1080p. Rather, the quality will vary depending on your internet speeds and bandwidth, requiring a minimum of 5 mbps or 15 mbps for 1080p.
What are the minimum requirements to stream games through the PlayStation Plus Premium plan on PC?

Q1: Is it worth buying a PS4 in 2022?
Some of these titles are available on PlayStation 5, PS3, and PC, but that actually works to the PS4’s advantage. Several game developers are still creating games for the older PlayStation alongside the newer one.
Q2: What games are getting remastered in 2022?
Dead Space. By Amanda Hurych.
Advance Wars 1 + 2: Re-Boot Camp. By Ryan Bamsey.
Life Is Strange Remastered Collection. By Stacey Henley.
The Witcher 3. By James Troughton.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. By Meg Pelliccio.
Cyberpunk 2077. By Harry Alston.
Q3: Why is PS5 out of stock?
The ongoing chip shortage — yep, that’s still a major issue — and shipping delays across the global supply chain. And based on Sony’s decision to cut its PS5 shipments forecast by some 3.3 million units in fiscal year 2022, it’s not going to get easier to snag a console soon.
Q4: Why is PS5 sold out?
Its quick rise to popularity amidst the Covid-19 pandemic though meant one thing: the PlayStation 5/ playstation day of play 2022 was consistently sold out as supply chain issues kept Sony from keeping its supply up with the ever-increasing demand.
Q5: How easy is it to get a PS5?
After so much time agonizing over production and shipping issues, however, PlayStation fans in particular might have some reason for a bit of optimism. While it still isn’t easy to get a PS5, it is getting somewhat less painful, as more avenues for acquiring the console have been opening up over the past few months.
