Vivo X80 First Impressions: A Promising Premium All-Rounder

Vivo X80 Pro

First Look at the Vivo X80: A Premium All-Rounder with a Lot of Potential

Additionally, Vivo has added its latest V1+ image engine to assist speed up computationally intensive operations, such as processing Night Mode photos in the camera app and interpolating frames when playing games. Vivo X80: Additionally, Vivo says that its single-chamber vapour cooling system is the largest on any smartphone in India. For the most part, these statements hold true, and I plan to put them to the test in my review. In my experience, the cooling system may have contributed to the lack of overheating alerts in the camera app when recording videos despite the phone growing hot.

Elaborate the Design and the specifications in detail.

The design is remarkably similar to the Vivo X80 Pro and the X70 Pro+ from previous year (Review). Aside from the periscopic camera, there is only one visual difference between X80 Pro and the standard X80. Everything else, from the ports and speaker grills to the layout, is the same. Moreover, Vivo has given the X80 an IP53 certification, a feature that is uncommon for smartphones in this price range.

Two slabs of glass with curved edges sandwich an aluminium alloy frame on the Vivo X80. Fluorite AG glass is used for the rear panel, which has a matte finish that appears to be effective in preventing fingerprints from adhering. Urban Blue is the colour of my unit, and it’s a welcome change from the standard white. Although the X80 weighs only 206g, it has a high-end look and feel because to its well-done fit and finish.

The camera system of the Vivo X80 Pro is outstanding, making it a fantastic smartphone. Only a few manufacturers are able to consistently produce high-quality Android phones, making them difficult to come by. If you compare Vivo to other manufacturers, they’ve had a lot less launches in the last few years, which is a good thing because last year’s phones still function well. In this case, it appears that Vivo has a winning strategy. Even if you already own a Vivo X series phone, the current model is larger and better. One thing is for certain with the Vivo X80 Pro’s camera setup, which we recently got the chance to test out for many days… more like a week. We’ll get to the two small issues at the conclusion.

There’s one more thing to keep in mind:

Vivo’s partnership with optics and optoelectronics giant ZEISS. Collaborative efforts are usually limited to a single brand name being attached to the back of an electronic device, such as an iPhone or Android. ZEISS is making a difference right here. I’m aware that OnePlus has a partnership with Hasselblad, but the effects aren’t readily apparent on any OnePlus device.

The T* coating and high-quality lens are the most notable features. Even when the camera is pointed directly at the sun, as we did while on a hot air balloon ride, the photographs had absolutely no flare. Photographing at night in neon-lit environments is made much easier with this accessory. In fact, the T* covering alone makes the phone worth recommending.
