AMD has unveiled the specifications for its first four Zen 4 Ryzen 7000 series “Raphael” CPUs, ranging in price from $299 for the entry-level six-core Ryzen 5 7600X to $699 for the flagship 16-core Ryzen 9 7950X

These processors, according to AMD’s benchmarks, will provide industry-leading performance, marking a welcome return to form

AMD boasts that its top-of-the-line 7950X is 11% quicker in gaming than Intel’s fastest CPU, the 12900K, and that even its entry-level Ryzen 5 7600X is 5% faster than the 12900K

The chips also enable AVX-512 artificial intelligence instructions and have a new integrated Radeon RDNA 2 graphics engine.
