If you need to make a document accessible to a wider audience but don’t have everyone’s email address, you can use this method instead.
There is an option to restrict access to the link to just the people of Hampshire, or to make it public worldwide.
1. Introduce a Google Doc, Sheet, or Presentation.2. Locate the Share button in the upper right hand corner.
3. To share this with others, select the option to do so and then click “Get shareable link” in the upper right corner.
4. If you click the arrow down next to “Anyone with the link,” you’ll be able to specify who can see, comment on, and/or make changes to the file.
5. Please take note that the link is set to restrict access to users with valid Hampshire College email addresses. Select “More” from the drop-down menu that appears next to “Anyone at Hampshire College…” to allow access to anyone outside of the university.
