iPad OS 16 Launch Until October

New iPadOS releases have been closely linked to iOS releases since Apple split iPadOS into its own operating system in 2019.

By announcing iPadOS 16 in October, Apple is bringing the operating system’s release date closer to that of the next generation of iPads.

This year, Apple is working on a new version of the iPad Pro with an M2 chip, as well as an entry-level iPad with a USB-C port.

iPadOS 16 release date could be brought closer to new tablet models’ debut if this change is made

A new iPad Pro with an M2 chip and a USB-C-powered entry-level iPad are reportedly in the works, according to Bloomberg.

New features in iPadOS 16 include a built-in weather app, better support for external displays, and productivity app controls that mimic those found on a Mac.
