ZTE Axon 40 Ultra . Except for India, the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra smartphone was officially unveiled on Wednesday. Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is the processor powering this smartphone, which has a front camera tucked beneath the screen. Prices for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option start at $799 (approximately Rs 62,000) and go up to $899 (about Rs 70,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. In Europe, the cost of these models is EUR 829 (approximately Rs. 70,800) and EUR 949 (about Rs. 79,100). It is exclusively available in Black, and pre-orders will begin on June 21.
India will not be able to buy the phone. As of early this year, it has been available in China.

Android 12-based MyOS 12 powers the dual-SIM (Nano) ZTE Axon 40 Ultra, which has a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display with a 2,480×1,116-pixel resolution. The display features an innovative UDC display chip, a 20:9 aspect ratio, TÜV Rheinland’s Low Blue Light Certification, and a 120Hz refresh rate. When it comes to the hardware, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM are included.
With a 64-megapixel IMX787 main sensor and an f/1.6 aperture, the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra has a triple rear camera. A 64-megapixel wide-angle and periscopic telephoto camera are also included. It has an under-display 16MP selfie camera on the front.
256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage and a 5,000mAh battery with 65W rapid charging power the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra. DTS:X Ultra technology is used to improve the sound quality of the twin stereo speakers. Haptic feedback is provided by an X-axis linear motor. NFC and Bluetooth v5.2 are included for communication, as well as an under-display fingerprint sensor.
