Where to Find Cellulite in Starfield?

There are countless types of resources in the Starfield environment, many of which will be needed for crafting at some time during the game. A surprisingly high percentage of these resources will require the player to put in a significant amount of work to locate, even if some of them are widely distributed throughout the Settled Systems.

A good example is the uncommon mineral caelumite, which is connected to the artifacts from Starfield.

Though typically in extremely small quantities, players will discover caelumite lining the walls of the same caverns that house the Artifacts.

Players will find that in order to finish the projects on time, they will need a far more dependable source of Caelumite as they progress through the higher levels of Starfield’s Research and Crafting mechanics. Players will learn how to locate that very thing from this tutorial.

Where in Starfield Can I Find Caelumite?

This rare material is located close to the Artifacts that players will discover in caverns all across Starfield, as was previously indicated. There are other locations for it, though. Caelumite appears to be closely associated with the earliest beginnings of the Artifacts and the temples to which they lead.

Players will discover as they progress through the game that every Artifact has a temple that goes with it, and that each temple gives players one power.

Where to Find Cellulite in Starfield

Every planet with a temple will have several anomalies, as players will notice. Players will find an abundance of Caelumite at these sites. Known as Gravitational Anomalies, these points of curiosity occur frequently on Temple worlds. Just stroll around each location while Starfield’s hand scanner is turned on to locate many caelumite veins.

Because Caelumite veins can be well disguised, make sure to thoroughly explore every block and ruin. Some powers can be quite useful in this situation.

How to Locate More Anomalies and Temple Planets?

Depending on the player’s position in the game, there are two ways to discover additional anomalies in the Settled Systems. They are as follows:

  • Finish Vladimir’s “Power From Beyond” quest line at the Eye.
  • Track as many ‘Power From Beyond’ missions as you can by using the ‘Completed’ area in the task menu.

Again, depending on the player’s position in the game, both of these options can function in tangent. There is no need to worry about obtaining more Caelumite than that, as players will probably only need one or two planets to create anything that uses it as a component.

Just go to one of the planets where you earned power, find as many anomalies as you can with the scanner, and then clean them up.

If Vlad takes the player to any planets, it could be worthwhile to keep track of them in case additional Caelumite is required. However, it’s also crucial to remember that Starfield’s New Game Plus completely changes the planets on which the temples are located.

For players who want to find more Caelumite on later playthroughs, this won’t typically be a problem because Vladimir will pick up “Power From Beyond” exactly where it was in a prior game.

The players should have more than enough Caelumite from these techniques to complete any study or crafting task.
